PAJAMA PARTY - a super hot female trio was put together by Peggy Sendars, and originally made up of Daphne Rubin-Vega, Jennifer McQuilkin, and Suzi Ranta.

When they first released the 1988 hot song "YO NO SE' ". Pajama Party was the first female act to originally release a hit Freestyle Dance song titled in Spanish. While working on the follow up single and after numerous concerts & appearances world wide management decided to replace group members Jennifer and Suzi with new members Lynn Critelli and Amanda Homi.

The follow up hit single titled "OVER & OVER" (originally performed and recorded by Brenda K. Starr), also became a major Dance hit. In 1989, the group released their a full-length album entitled "UP ALL NIGHT" for Atlantic Records company. By this time, Amanda was replaced by Club MTV dancer Marialisa Costanzo.

The next single entitled "HIDE AND SEEK" (re-mixed by Robert Clivilles & David Cole) became an instant mega-hit, for which they filmed their first music video. The debut album also contained the songs "LOVE-LIGHT" as well as the ballad "LIVING INSIDE YOUR LOVE".

With hit after hit making the Billboards Hot 100, and touring with the likes of Menudo, New Kids On The Block, George Lamond, Sweet Sensation, Brenda K. Starr, Linear, and Safire to name a few, the girls quickly became an international hit.

In 1991, came the release of their second album "CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT".(also on Atlantic Records). The first single was the radio-friendly "GOT MY EYE ON YOU". The albums title track would lean the girls more towards R&B/Pop.

By 1993, the group parted ways, but still continued to be involved in the entertainment industry. Daphne becoming a successful solo Dance music artist (now with her Rock band DRV), also a professional actress starring in movies along with Robert DeNiro, Neve Cambell, and Kevin Bacon, as well as creating the leading role of 'Mimi' in the legendary Broadway musical "RENT". Jennifer and Suzi are still involved with music, Amanda and Marialisa also went on to do some acting appearing in films with Susan Sarandon and Stephen Dorff, with Lynn performing with various Rock bands in the New York area, being formerly engaged to Tico Torres of BON JOVI, and later married and divorced Brett Saberhagen of The NY METS (now with the Boston Red Sox).
