Debbie Deb - was the sound and force of Miami famed music producer and writer Pretty Tony. He and his record company Jam Packed (a.k.a Music Specialist) made history in the 80's producing hit after hit for Trinere and Freestyle (the music group). The Debbie DEB hits like "Look Out Weekend", and "When I Hear the Music", are landmark dance music classics of the 1980's that can still to this day be heard on radio stations world wide. It is almost guaranteed that if you walk into any Dance Music Night Club you will hear "Look Out Weekend".
Pretty Tony trademarked the name Debbie DEB to protect his investment. Over the years several female recording artist have been promoted as Debbie DEB for live concerts. When contractual disputes arose between the original vocalist and Pretty Tony he simply replaced her for the follow up singles. A new female vocalist allowed Pretty Tony to continue to promote and produce hit after hit under the trade-name Debbie DEB.
When you think of South Florida Dance Music and the Freestyle sound Pretty Tony stands at the center of Miami Freestyle history.
